EF High Flyers course is designed in five stages, each of which is divided into two distinct levels. In order to place new students in the most suitable stage, we have developed oral placement test materials that help our teachers assess the students¡¯ level and general English knowledge.

Our lessons follow EF's communicative method and focus on building students' confidence and abilities to speak English naturally. The High Flyers curriculum emphasizes practical and conversational skills to help children communicate and interact in English. EF English First's communicative methodology and the Efekta System integrate the best methods and approaches developed for English language teaching, for instance, the communicative approach, the lexical approach, total physical response or PPP (Presentation, Practice and Production).
Efekta™ kids English teaching system
EF's High Flyers course uses EF's unique Efekta system to foster the development of fundamental English skills and enhance students' communication and learning abilities. Our Efekta system combines face-to-face lessons, Classroom Companion Unit multimedia content, iLAB online study program and life club activities.
EF eclectic methodology
EF English First's eclectic methodology focuses on building students' confidence and abilities to communicate in English. Our approach to teaching and learning integrates the notion that students learn in different ways, therefore it incorporates a wide range of activities, tasks, and teaching methodologies that are designed to create an enjoyable, motivating, and engaging atmosphere.
iLAB online English learning platform
Our internet based learning program Practice & Play provides an opportunity for the student to practice what they have learned in the classroom either at home or at school. It is a set of online flash-based activities and games that reinforce the language. Each level gives access to 32 activities and 4 games. In total, there are 396 activities that provide more than 100 hours of fun learning. And through Parent Pages, parents could get contact with EF school and closely track their kid's study.
English Life Club for Kids
Life Club events are teacher led activities that take place in an environment outside of the traditional classroom setting. Each Life Club session is based on a different theme which brings variety to the course. Life Clubs provide the perfect setting for students to participate in communicative activities, socialize and have fun in an English speaking environment.
Most of our teachers have to obtain two internationally recognized certificates. And for High Flyers, teachers should also have to be cheerful people to be able to make kids more enthusiastic in learning English and speak English without worry. In our face-to-face small class, we ensure that every child will receive enough individual attention of teachers.
